Dignity & voice
Learn the person’s preferences, culture, relationships, communication, and hopes. Include them in decisions as fully as possible.
Our approach
Dignity Guardianship Solutions is being developed to serve adults who need court-appointed protection when an appropriate individual guardian is unavailable or unwilling to serve.
The mission
Our mission is to provide professional, ethical, person-centered guardianship services that protect adults while preserving dignity, self-determination, meaningful relationships, and rights retained under the law.
For each decision, the guiding questions are practical and personal: What does the person want? Can they make this decision with support? Is guardianship authority needed? What is the least restrictive option consistent with the court order?
We aim to build a trusted organization through responsiveness, careful documentation, responsible stewardship, and accountability to the people served and the community.
What guides us
Learn the person’s preferences, culture, relationships, communication, and hopes. Include them in decisions as fully as possible.
Take concerns about abuse or exploitation seriously and use only appropriate authority, within the court’s order.
Keep clear boundaries, safeguard private information, document actions, and maintain accountable practices.
A note on our status
The planning documents describe formation, state approval, county validation, and a controlled launch as steps still to be completed. Please confirm Dignity’s current approval and appointment availability before making a referral.
